6th ANNUAL FAMILY FUNDAY IN THE PARK RETURNS TO SAM HOUSTON RACE PARK

Family-Friendly Festival Offers Live Music, Kids Zone & More on Saturday, September 25, 2010

 

WHAT:           The race for fun starts right now and all bets are on as Radio One Houston (KMJQ-FM/Majic 102.1, KBXX-FM/97.9 The Box, KROI-FM/Praise 92.1) saddle up for the 6th Annual Family FunDay In The Park on Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Sam Houston Race Park (www.shrp.com)!  The day-long family-friendly festival will take place in the West Lot.  Tickets are available beginning Friday, August 20th at 10 a.m.

The event will feature live musical performances by Lakeside, Con Funk Shun, Barkays, Dazz Band, Brick, Slave and Sugarfoot’s Ohio Players as well as local and regional up-and-coming artists, along with concessions, a variety of vendor booths and family games in the Kids Zone.

The 6th Annual Family FunDay In The Park is open to all ages.  Gates open at 12 p.m.  Advance tickets are $10 adults (ages 12 and up) & $5 children (ages 3-11); kids 2 and under get in FREE; tickets are available at the Radio One Houston office located at 24 Greenway Plaza #900, online at www.shrp.com or by calling 800-211-3381. Ticket prices increase the day of the show.  Parking is FREE.
